About me

🦋Hi, I'm Marissa, a watercolor artist, photographer, teacher, and writer who has wandered throughout the Western United States, and is now currently nestled in the rainy Pacific Northwest. Drawing from a lifelong blend of creativity and education, my work is infused with a playful, child-like style—adorned with whimsical details and inviting colors. I draw home, botanicals, birds, and magical places both near and far.  

 

Inspired by nature, I can often be found outside in the sunshine, chasing clouds, picking wildflowers and watching the birds with my dog Nori, and my turtle Toby. Always in search of the tiny details both within us and around us that define "Home."
