Featherlight Field is Tiny World’s cheerful little gateway to everywhere else.

 

Birds arrive with stories tucked beneath their wings. Butterflies drift in with pollen on their feet. Dragonflies skim the runway, and tiny aircraft wait beneath bright striped windsocks for their next adventure.

 

Some travelers are setting off for distant cities with Nigel. Others are beginning long seasonal migrations or simply taking a short trip over the hills. Everyone is welcomed, whether they arrive with a carefully packed suitcase or tumble unexpectedly out of the sky.

 

 

 

 

Beside the airfield stands the Tiny World Travel Agency, where maps cover the walls and every drawer contains a possible journey. The agents help travelers plan routes by land, sea, sky, and occasionally somewhere far beyond the clouds.

 

Visitors may collect postcards, check the departure board, browse Nigel’s latest destinations, or ask for directions to a place that has not yet appeared on any map.

 

There is always another flight preparing to leave Featherlight Field.

 

There is also, rather often, an unexpected arrival.  But leave that to Gilbert at the Hotel.
